Hi, I'm Kelsey Milam
I’m a 100% telehealth therapist serving clients across North Carolina who are ready to feel more grounded, fulfilled, and true to themselves. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, but you don’t have to go through this alone. No matter your concern, I offer a calm, supportive space to grow. I work best with clients who are ready to show up, do the work, and take meaningful steps toward a life that feels authentic and peaceful.
I was inspired to become a therapist by meeting with one myself, after my father passed away when I was a young girl. I know first-hand how scary it can be to share your story, but trust me having an un-biased, non-judgmental, listening ear can go a long way. If you think we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out today!
Specialties
Anxiety
We aim to de-stigmatize mental illness. All of us has experienced some level of anxiety or depression. With the pandemic, this level increased for most people. We can provide coping and self-regulation skills that everyone can benefit from.
Trauma
Depression, anxiety, & self-harm are some of the many ways that trauma can manifest. Kelsey uses a mixture of EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Therapy to heal from past distressing events.
LGBTQIA+
We provide a safe space to provide non-judgmental support. Kelsey has experience with folks across the sexuality and gender spectrum. She feels comfortable discussing the transition process and writing letters for gender affirming surgeries.
